Earth Day is about raising awareness on the importance of protecting our planet and taking action.

In conjunction with the 51st anniversary of Earth Day, RAMSSOL Group Berhad (RAMSSOL), partnered with Lions Club Kuala Lumpur East for the “Beautify Your World Project” as part of our company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.


Held on the 8th April at the Selangor Association for Mentally Handicapped (SAMH) in Klang we celebrated this initiative by creating welcoming, bright spaces that made schools “feel like home”, especially for the younger generation and the differently-abled.


The RAMSSOL team, members of the public and guests took the time on a lovely Thursday morning to plant trees and spend time with the management of Selangor Association for Mentally Handicapped (SAMH). On top of that we raised a sum of close to RM10,000 in kind was donated to help establish the nursery as well as to develop a heightened awareness of the environmental issues surrounding the school community. Yang Berhormat Tuan Leong Tuck Chee, ADUN Pandamaran who graced up with his presence donated an additional RM2,000 to help with the funding for additional needs for the school.
